Customer's reviews

Both my parents and aunt found themselves in a very tight situation after hurricane Milton. They were both closing on homes that were closing and sustained damage. Anita went above and beyond!! Her and the team had both properties repaired in days!!! This is at a time when no one was able to help due to the amount of devastation!! We couldn’t have asked for better people in our time of need! They are empathetic, reliable, respectful, and professional! They understand their business and more importantly, the importance of customer service. They are good people! Thank you PuroClean of Melbourne, and a special thank you to Anita and Jesse!!😊👍🏻 ~ Greg R
Previously hired a window/door contractor to install two doors and 4 windows. After two days they informed me they could not complete the job due to unforeseen termite damage. They wanted me to find a contractor (to reframe, hang drywall, stucco, and paint) and they would work with them to finish the installation. No way was I going to try to co-ordinate multiple contractors to finish the job, so I contacted Puroclean. Anita took my call and Jesse came out and did a survey and gave me a contract to do all the work including installing the windows and doors already purchased from previous contractor. Irving and Wally did an excellent job from start to finish with the reframing and installation of doors and windows Anita kept us informed of the scheduling. Great company that can do it all at a fair price. Will definitely call for future repairs/upgrades. ~ Somjit G
I had a situation with mold that wasn’t covered by insurance. I did some price shopping and Anita told me they would be the best price I could find, and she was absolutely right. Not only was their teardown>removal>remediation>rebuild price cheaper than other companies prices just for teardown>remediation, but they were also quick, efficient, and kept me updated. They handled everything including the post remediation testing, which passed first attempt. I only ever dealt with one person even though 4x different companies were involved (remediation, HVAC, testing, rebuild). I’m very glad I found PuroClean. ~ Kevin H

Questions & Answers

I have insurance. Should I apply for FEMA aid?
Yes, go ahead and apply. If you have insurance of any kind (homeowners, wind, flood), you must use it first. If there is something your insurance doesn’t cover, including temporary housing, FEMA might be able to help.
I’m not happy with the amount of the check my insurance company sent me. I plan to ask for more. Should I cash the check?
Talk to your company before you sign the check. Some companies consider your claim final and settled if you sign the check. The check might also only be a partial payment to help you start repairs. The company will then send more money when you give them proof that you’re repairing your house. Ask your company if this is the case.
When will I get the check if it was sent to the mortgage company first?
The mortgage company must get in touch with you within 10 days of getting the check from your insurance company. Once you’ve met the mortgage company’s requirements, it has 10 days to send you the check. You might be eligible to interest if the mortgage company takes more than 10 days.
Will my homeowners company send the claim check straight to me?
If you have a loan on your house, the company will usually send the check to your mortgage company. You’ll then have to work with the mortgage company to get the money released for repairs.
I have replacement cost coverage on my house. So why am I only getting a check for actual cash value?
The first check your company will send you will likely be for the actual cash value. Once you’ve started repairs and show proof to your company, they’ll send you the remainder to equal the replacement cost.
